Hey there, sorry to say I haven’t read the book, but I did get to listen to a vintage JS band on CD, and it brought back good memories, what maybe could have been, instead, or together-with. My son, Mitch, is planning to re-master it, so I’ll let you know how that turns out. Both my sons are musicians by avocation, and Blake has two drum sets plus a digital set. I destroyed my shoulder some time back, but it’s good enough now I can sit and play some. The songs I might have remembered, a few of them I definitely remembered, but it was a long time ago……..
